Hang En cave - Phong Nha Ke Bang national park

Hang En is a beautiful large cave, its main entrance being a spectacular 100m wide. Inside are three huge water caves separated by sloping mountains and hills, it is 1645m long and has three mouths: one halfway up a mountain, the two others are located on a different huge mountain, its foot covers the area from the south-east to the north-west along the Rao Thuong River. This is what makes Hang En different from other famous caves in the country and one of the most incredible caves in the world to visit.

- Going underground, Hang En Cave tunneled out by the Rao Thuong River. Dwindling to a series of ponds during the dry months, the river can rise almost 300 feet (91 meters) during the flood season.

- To see Hang En Cave involves a day trek through beautiful jungle and valleys, and through a minority village, and then an overnight stay in the cave.
