Nha Trang seaside city and attractions
The coastal city of Nha Trang lies on the trans-Vietnam highway, 1.280km from Hanoi, and 450 km from Ho Chi Minh City. The rainfall is less than anywhere else in the country and the area is not threatened by storms, because it is protected by the Truong Son Mountains and Ca Pass.
The setting of Nha Trang is stunning, with towering mountains looming up behind the city and the sweeping beach stretching into the distance, the turquoise waters dotted with little islands. The beach-front has parks and sculpture gardens spread along the shore. While the offshore islands add to the appeal, offering boat trips and some of Vietnam’s best diving.
Hugging the coast for a few blocks is a fully fledged international resort, complete with high-rise hotels, souvenir shops, stylish restaurants and bars. It also offers some of the best dining, with a bounty from the sea and an array of international flavours. As the restaurants wind down, the nightlife is bustling and people play late in this city.
There are some more sedate activities on offer beyond the waters. Try an old-school spa treatment with a visit to a mud-bath centre and having fun, or explore centuries-old Cham towers still standing in the centre of town. Nha Trang has something for everyone.

Nha Trang night market
Nha Trang night market has been in operation since before the Lunar New Year in 2010 to serve the needs shopping, night dining of locals and tourists. The market has about 50 stalls, including 16 cuisine stalls. Though the number of stalls in the night market is not many, but you will surprise by the abundance and variety of items and dishes.
Dam Market
Dam Market is also known as Nha Trang Trade Center, is the largest market in Nha Trang, with beautiful architecture and located in the city center. The main house on the market consists of two floors, built in a circular form, with V-shaped roof follow the lotus symbol. This is a shopping place attract the locals and tourists, here not only sell the essential commodities, but also a lot souvenirs and local products serve tourists.
Hon Mieu island
Hon Mieu island also known as Tri Nguyen island or Bong Nguyen island, with an area of approximately 1.3 square kilometers and is the best inshore island in Nha Trang Bay, so here has the pretty crowded population, formed a fishing village since long time ago, and still exists until today.
