Doc Let - Beautiful white sandy beach

This largely undeveloped beach, around 45km north of Nha Trang, offers a picture postcard setting. Palm-fringed white sand stretches out to the turquoise waters dotted with fishing boats moored offshore. It's ideal for swimming with no rocks and a shallow depth for some way out.

Doc Let is a good place to meet locals and get away from the backpacker factory that busy Nha Trang has become. You can get there easily on a rented motorbike and worth considering as a day trip or an overnight stop.

The beach is wide, expanding into a crescent shape flanked by the sea on one side and thick jungle on the other that intersperses with guesthouses and hotels on the west side. The beach is a tourist zone, with a pool, small shops and eateries on site.
