Ta Van village in flooded fields season - Sapa

H'mong and Giay people in Ta Van village started farming since the end of April. They choose the best land slopes, where available water circuit extrusion or near sources of rivers and streams... and together broke ground, digging ditches, embankment to bring water into the fields for the new rice season.

Wait until the rain much, the locals pulled together out the fields, women embankment, man hoeing fields, children help their parents and frolic... makes a bustling area. After the preparation is complete, they bring the water to soak the soil. This time is called Mua Nuoc Do in Vietnamese, it's mean flooded fields season.

During this season from May to June, the terraced fields around Ta Van village as giant multicolor carpet, sparkling under yellow sunshine.
