Bao Dai palace - Dalat

Bao Dai Palace (address - 08 Trieu Viet Vuong street, Dalat city) is a magnificent mansion of King Bao Dai family - The last emperor of Nguyen Dynasty and Vietnam feudal dynasties.

Bao Dai Palace was designed by a French architect and Huynh Tan Phat architect, was built in 1933 on a romantic pine hill. The palace is a huge structure with the flat roof and symmetrical shapes, follow European style, front and back of the palace there are lovely gardens. Including 2 floors with 25 elegant rooms:

- The ground floor used as a meeting place, banquets, receptions and government officials. The main door with 4m wide, inside is a hall includes the reception room and workroom. On the right is the office of King Bao Dai and library. On the left is the meeting room and other facilities. Inside is the recreation room.

- The upper floor for family activities, including rooms of King Bao Dai, Queen Nam Phuong, Phuong Mai princess, Phuong Lien princess, Bao Long prince, Bao Thang prince. Outside the bedroom of King Bao Dai is a quite beautiful room as the place to relax and watching the moon. The room of Bao Long Prince was decorated with mainly yellow color, because he is the successor to the throne.

Bao Dai Palace preserves many memorabilia such as Angkor Wat picture by King Sihanouk (Cambodia) donated to King Bao Dai, the military seal, the emperor jade seal, the nation letter, the flag of diplomatic relations countries, the bust of King Bao Dai and his father King Khai Dinh... In addition, Bao Dai Palace has many Hue antiques imperial court, and the underground wine cellar.
